This is an opportunity for High School Varsity Teams wishing to have the opportunity to participate in an exhibition style presentation of their routine in the Denver Coliseum one week before the CHSAA State Spirit Competition at a lower cost of competing at the STATE Spirit Challenge hosted by Flip and Shout. Friday evening teams can enter a team to pass through a warmup and perform on the main floor for a cost of $250 per team at the early bird deadline. A safety official will be provided to provide feedback on potential safety issues. There will NO SORING, COMMENTS OR RANKINGS given from traditional judges.
The intention of this session at the STATE Spirit Challenge is to provide another option for teams to get a “rehearsal” at the Denver Coliseum without the costs of competing head-to-head with other spirit teams. This division will be limited to entries on a first come first serve basis, in order to allow proper timing for the Freshmen and JV STATE Challenge earlier in the day.
Teams will have the same process and timings of a regular event with regard to warm up process and timings as well as performance timings. The schedule will be set to reflect a standard event schedule to allow for this to happen. Thus, the main floor will run on a 4 minute rotation, meaning warm up stations will also be 4 minute.
